Privacy Policy

ConvoCasa respects your privacy. This policy explains how Michelle Moffatt, operating ConvoCasa, collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Our approach is guided by the Australian Privacy Principles. Any other privacy laws that apply to our activities remain applicable.

1. Information we collect

We collect information reasonably needed to arrange and provide your conversation, including:

Our website and service providers may also collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser information and cookies, to operate their services.

You do not need to explain what you want to discuss when booking. Please avoid including sensitive information or unnecessary details about other people in booking forms.

You may make a general enquiry anonymously or using a pseudonym. To complete a booking, we need a working email address and the details necessary to arrange the session and process payment.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

We do not sell your personal information. We will only send promotional emails with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Your conversation

Michelle treats the content of your conversation as confidential.

ConvoCasa does not routinely record or transcribe sessions, or use AI meeting assistants. Any exception requires your express agreement beforehand.

We do not routinely keep detailed notes about what you discuss. Where a minimal record is necessary to handle a complaint, incident or legal obligation, we limit it to what is reasonably needed.

If we need to collect or retain sensitive information, we will seek your consent unless applicable law permits otherwise.

Conversation content will not be shared without your permission, except where legally required or where reasonably necessary and legally permitted to respond to a serious and imminent risk of harm.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use service providers for bookings, payments, email, online meetings and website hosting. We share only the personal information reasonably needed for those services.

Card details are processed by Stripe. ConvoCasa does not store your full card number or security code.

Providers may also handle information under their own privacy policies.

We may share relevant information with professional advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary and legally permitted. We do not share conversation content with service providers for advertising or AI training.

5. Overseas handling

Your personal information may be accessed, processed or stored outside Australia through our service providers or when Michelle works overseas.

We take reasonable steps to assess providers’ privacy and security arrangements and meet any applicable obligations for overseas handling.

6. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed to deliver the service, resolve issues and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. We then take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

If a data breach occurs, we will assess it and notify affected people and regulators where required by applicable law.

7. Access and correction

You can request access to your personal information or ask us to correct inaccurate information by emailing hello@convocasa.com.

We may need to verify your identity. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why, unless legally prevented from doing so.

You can also ask us to delete information. Some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes.

8. Privacy concerns

If you have a privacy question or complaint, email hello@convocasa.com with the relevant details.

We aim to respond within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will let you know.

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au, where your complaint falls within its jurisdiction, or another relevant privacy regulator.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The current version will be available on our website, with its update date shown below.
